![]() Along with being a sucker for historical thrillers, books dealing with the survival of one or more Romanov children is my ultimate guilty pleasure. ![]() The Romanov Prophecy is one of Berry’s few standalones and one of the first of his I read. While my area of study focused on the American Civil War, Tsarist Russia and the Romanovs have long held a special place in my heart. I’m unabashedly, wholeheartedly, 100% biased when it comes to my favorite Steve Berry title: The Romanov Prophecy. Years after Dan Brown and I have parted ways, Berry has managed to stick around and he’s become my Go-To author for an entertaining rainy-/sick-day read or when I want some good brain fluff. That summer I wanted more and while searching for similar authors, I came across Steve Berry. ![]() Being a total sucker for historical thrillers, I grabbed a copy and eventually tore through Brown’s books. I was a senior in high school the year Dan Brown took the world by storm. The Da Vinci Code had just been released and everyone was talking about it. Please welcome today’s guest blogger: Leah from The Pretty Good Gatsby, who will be discussing the best and worst of Steve Berry. ![]() ![]() Visit the series page for more information about the guest bloggers, the featured authors, and the sign-up form. Each Wednesday I feature a guest post by a book blogger detailing which books they think are the “best” and “worst” by the author of their choice. ![]()
